University Advancement includes the Alumni Association, Boise State Foundation, Bronco Athletic Association, University Relations and Government Affairs.
Alumni Association
Formed in 1967, the Alumni Association has been supporting Boise State's more than 50,000 alumni, 17,000 students and countless friends for 35 years. We exist to promote the advancement of academic excellence by fostering alliances among communities, the University and its current, past and future students. Programs and activities encourage alumni and friends to stay connected to Boise State, carry it with you, and help enhance the university experience.
Boise State Foundation
The Boise State Foundation raises funds and friends in support of the academic programs here at Boise State University. Over the years countless alumni and friends have made generous contributions in the form of cash, securities, real estate, insurance, or included the Foundation in their estate plans. Each gift is special and truly beneficial to our students who are at the heart of our mission. One can only wonder at the future doctors, engineers, lawyers, corporate leaders and teachers who result from our academic efforts here at Boise State University.
Bronco Athletic Association
The Bronco Athletic Association supports the Boise State University Athletic Department mission statement, which is twofold. First, to provide opportunities for a meaningful athletic experience for as many students as possible. Second, to develop and maintain a competitive athletic program that competes on a regional and national basis and strives for excellence in both men's and women's athletics within the boundaries of integrity and honesty.
Communications and Marketing
Communications and Marketing produces news releases for local and national media and award-winning publications for student life, faculty/staff awareness and community involvement. It is our primary mission to publicize the endeavors and achievements of students, faculty and alumni.
