Bachelor of Applied Science Degree

College of Arts and Sciences

Program Overview

The Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree is designed for students who have completed an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree.

The degree provides students holding an AAS degree with the opportunity to combine their technical course work with academic core and upper-division coursework. A portion of the upper-division coursework must have an emphasis in a specific academic area, allowing for specialized knowledge to complement the student’s career and life goals.

Program Admission

The Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) program requires an Associate of Applied Science.

Admission to Boise State does not guarantee acceptance into the BAS degree program. Once accepted to Boise State, the student must meet with the Bachelor of Applied Science Advisor for final program admission.

If you have any questions about the requirement for admission to the BAS program, please contact the program advisor at reginajenkins@boisestate.edu or (208) 426-3703.
