Our students regularly: 1. teach and participate in school and community art classes within a 50 mile radius of campus for a minimum of 60 clock hours concurrent with their methods classes in K-12 schools before student teaching; |

2. attend and participate in the Idaho Art Education Association Annual Conference in October of each year. We present a workshop to the art teachers there and learn a lot from them in return 3. judge K-12 student artwork
for the community and region as requested by various school
and community groups; and 4. volunter for community service projects such as the Girl Scouts Art Fair Day, 8th Street Market Fair, school Spring Art Fair Celebrations, Saturday art classes to children at the Ada Community Library, and Idaho City/Basin Elementary School Art Day.
