Twenty-five full-time professors, twenty adjunct faculty, and more than 600 majors make up the Department of Art, which is one of the largest at Boise StateDegrees offered: B.A. and minor in the History of Art and Visual Culture; B.A., B.F.A. and minor in Visual Art; B.A. and B.F.A. in Art Education (k-12, 6-12); B.A. and B.F.A. in Graphic Design; B.F.A. in Illustration and a two year pre-architecture program. Graduate Programs include M.A. in Art, Art Education and M.F.A. in Visual Arts.Visual Art majors must qualify in order to pursue the B.F.A. degree. Once admitted B.F.A. candidates select an emphasis area from the following: Art Metals, Ceramics, Drawing, Interdisciplinary Studio, Painting, Printmaking, Photography, Sculpture.
