Getting Started as a Bicycle Commuter: Route 4
Shoshone Park to Campus
7:25 a.m.- riders convene at Shoshone Park, Shoshone at Canal Street
7:30 a.m. - depart eastward on Canal Street
cross Vista Ave.
at Columbus, left turn (7:33 a.m.)
at Kootenai, right turn (7:39 a.m.)
continue on Protest
cross Boise Ave.
continue on Beacon
at Lincoln Ave, left turn
continue to Student Union building, arriving at 7:45 a.m.
Return Options:
- Arrange a time to meet your friends and bicycle home together.
- Ride your bicycle to the northwest corner of Capitol and University. From here you can catch Valley Ride Bus #3, Vista, departing every 30 minutes between 6:18 a.m. and 6:18 p.m. De-board at Canal Street.
- Ride your bicycle downtown to Valley Ride bus zone #3 (Main at Capitol). From here you can catch bus #4, Roosevelt, which serves the general vicinity of Shoshone Park with departures from downtown every half-hour between 6:45 a.m. and 6:45 p.m.
