Bronco Bucks Debit Account

Bronco Bucks Card Use
The Bronco Bucks Debit Card can only be used for purchases of goods and services at participating locations on the Boise State University campus. A complete listing of participating locations is available at the BroncoCard office during regular business hours . Statements of Bronco Bucks transactions are available upon request from the BroncoCard office.

Deposits and Withdrawals
Deposits to the Bronco Bucks debit card can be made at either the Information Desk in the Student Union, or at the Payments and Disbursement office in room A211 of the Administration Building. Cash withdrawals are only permitted at the end of academic semester unless your affiliation with the university ceases during the semester. To apply for a refund of unused Bronco Bucks, contact either the BroncoCard office or the Payments and Disbursement office. Reimbursements will be mailed within 10 business days.

On-Line Transactions
Web-based Bronco Bucks transactions will be applied the following business day before 9:00 a.m. Transactions will not be posted on holidays. During intersession periods, the BroncoCard office may be closed certain days that are non-holidays; therefore transactions will be posted on the next open business day. Disputed Transactions
If you feel the current balance on your Bronco Bucks is incorrect, or you need to dispute a transaction, then come to the BroncoCard office in the Student Union during business hours and request a review of your account. If a transaction is determined to be in error, then it will be reconciled with the Food Service provider and credited back to your Bronco Bucks account within five business days.

Lost or Stolen Cards
If your card is lost or stolen and you contact the BroncoCard office within two business days any losses resulting from illegal use will be limited to the lesser amount of $50.00 or the actual amount of the loss. If the BroncoCard office is contacted after two business days, your losses will be limited to the lesser of $500.00 or the actual amount of the loss.

To report a lost card (1) call the BroncoCard office at 426-4171, or (2) come to the BroncoCard office on the first floor adjacent to the Games Center in the Student Union or (3) send e-mail to broncobucks@boisestate.edu. You should also report stolen cards to the campus or local police as soon as possible and note the police report number.

Unclaimed Bronco Bucks
If, after a period of six months, a student is not currently enrolled at Boise State University and there has not been any activity on their Bronco Bucks debit card, any remaining balance will be forfeited and deposited back into the Bronco Bucks general account and the account will be closed. Forfeited money may be reclaimed for up to one year after the account is closed.

Third Party Notification
Information regarding the cardholder's account or transactions may be disclosed to third parties when necessary to complete transactions, when the condition or existence of an account must be verified to comply with government agency or court orders, or with the cardholder's written permission.
