The On-Campus program allows high school students to take courses on the Boise State campus and pay the same amount for classes as any other Boise State student.
Students must:
Home school students must be at least 16 years of age and score at least a 68 on the Writing compass exam and an 85 on the Reading compass exam.

An application form can be obtained two ways:
Students may take any class the university offers provided all prerequisites are met or instructor permission is acquired.

Math and English composition classes require placement through ACT/SAT scores, pre-requisite courses or Compass placement. Some Modern Language, Chemistry and computer courses may also require placement. Placement Exams are given in the Technical Services building, room 115. Core courses provide students with a broad educational experience that provides a foundation and wider context for more advanced study in the major field.

Upon admission to Boise State, students will be provided access to BroncoWeb, your on-line student center, and be provided class registration instructions.
Students pay the same amount for classes as Boise State students – $239 per credit.

Students are not eligible for federal financial aid programs. Students are responsible for costs associated with courses selected.
We hope that you continue your education at Boise State and join the Bronco family after your high school graduation. To make your transition from being an On-Campus high school student to becoming a degree-seeking Boise State student as smooth as possible, please follow these steps:
1. Apply for full-time admission. A complete application includes all of the following:
2. Submit official ACT or SAT scores.
3. Submit official transcripts from any other college where you have earned dual credit.
4. Apply for scholarships. You must submit all of the above materials by February 15 to be considered for merit and need-based scholarships. Additional scholarship information can be viewed on the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office web page.
5. Fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Apply at www.fafsa.ed.gov between January 1st and February 15th to be considered for additional need-based financial aid and scholarships.
6. Sign up for on-campus student housing. Apply at University Housing starting early January.
