Section Three Exercise
This is an exercise in reading images. Choose any two images and study them carefully. Look for economic or social activities that you can clearly identify. Look also for architectural elements, tools, forms of transportation, clothing, and any other elements that you can see that would let you make observations about society or economics.

Cityscapes - Reading Images, Part 2
These maps are mostly from the 16th century. They are very large and quite detailed. They give us not only a sense of the layout of the town, but many other details as well.
For any two maps, see how much information you can discover. Examine the buildings, the public spaces, transportation, clothing, and so on. Take notes, and post your observations to the discussion board.
