Computer-based Multimedia Courses

Computer Requirements

Computer-based multimedia classes are unique in that all course content is provided via a CD-Rom disk that is installed on a computer.

Recommended Software/Hardware

Students should ensure they have met the following computer requirements listed below, so that they have full access to course audio, video, and text files. For computer-based multimedia classes only.

Windows

Windows XP, Vista or newer. Version 5 or 6 courses WILL NOT run on Windows 98 or ME; please call VESi to find out which courses run on Windows 98 or ME.
15" or larger color monitor with minimum resolution of 800x600px
512 MB of free hard disk space
1 GB of RAM
4x CD driver speed
Printer attached to your computer (required)

Macintosh

OSX 9.2, 10.x or newer
15" or larger color monitor with minimum resolution of 800x600px
512 MB of free hard disk space
1 GB of RAM
