Designed to help special and general educators gain better understanding of inclusion, a current educational reform movement advocating educating students with disabilities in general education classrooms. Defines key concepts and terms, identifies and describes federal legislature and court cases, and lists and describes federal definition of students entitled to special services. Identifies roles and responsibilities of educators in providing special services to students educated in inclusive classrooms.
These computer-based courses are offered for Professional Education, undergraduate, or graduate credit in conjunction with an educational vendor, Virtual Education Software, Inc. (VESi). These courses may provide an effective way to satisfy certification and re-certification education requirements in a variety of occupations. Please check with the proper certifying agency prior to registration. Computer-Based Multimedia classes are offered during the first and second eight-week sessions of fall and spring semesters and in the first and second five-week sessions of summer.

NOTE: If you drop a Computer-Based Multimedia course and still receive your software, please return it unopened to Virtual Education Software, Inc. If the software is not returned, your student account will be charged a $95 fee.
Time. On average, this two-credit course requires 30 to 60 hours to complete, so please budget your time carefully.
For students taking the courses at the graduate level, two additional writing assignments are required to receive credit:
Completion. You must complete the course work, print the completion certificate, and mail or fax the certificate and any other required assignments directly to the instructor on or before the completion deadline.

Course Evaluation. A couple of weeks before the semester ends, a course evaluation form will be sent to your home. After you have taken a few minutes to evaluate the class, please return the evaluation to the Division of Extended Studies in the envelope provided. Please do not return the completed evaluation form to your instructor.
Final Grades. Your instructor will submit final grades for posting a few days after the last day of class. When posted, you will be able to view your grade through your BroncoWeb student account.
If extenuating circumstances dictate that you need your grade earlier than this for certification or recertification purposes, please make arrangements directly with your instructor as early as possible.
Software. The software runs directly from the CD drive on your computer. Course work must be completed on the same computer system on which the software was initiated. The program requires:
