Before you sign up for an Internet/Online class, take a look at the Learning Management System (Blackboard) used by Boise State to deliver these classes at a distance.
e-Learning at Boise State: An Online Orientation is a site to orient Boise State students enrolled in courses using Blackboard. In addition, it provides information for students thinking about enrolling in courses using Blackboard, as well as technical support for students currently enrolled in courses using Blackboard.
Take an e-Learning course that will give you a good idea of what the Blackboard learning environment looks like, as well as allow you to get a feel for how your class might be structured. The course covers computer literacy, Internet literacy, technology management, organization, and time management. It is available as an online 1-credit course, UNIV 107, with learning in an online course setting, along with other students, facilitated by an instructor.
You can also participate in a NON-CREDIT, self-study version of the e-Learning course. Click here and then look for "Elearning at Boise State" in "My Courses" box.
