Three complete Master’s degree programs are offered fully online through Distance Education. Instructional and Performance Technology (IPT) is housed in the College of Engineering, Educational Technology is in the College of Education, and Nursing is in the College of Health Sciences. Instructional and Performance Technology (IPT) Online Master’s Program
Boise State University is at the forefront of technology-delivered education, offering an entire Master's degree program in Instructional and Performance Technology via distance education. Educational Technology Online Master’s Program: MS and MET Degrees
Boise State University's College of Education, a National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) accredited institution, offers an Educational Technology Master's Degree online! The Department of Educational Technology supports the study and practice of facilitating and improving learning of a diverse population by creating, using, managing, and evaluating appropriate technological processes and resources. Believing technology is a tool that enhances and expands the educational environment, it promotes the use of current and emergent technologies for teaching and learning in a dynamic global society. Educational technologists are leaders and innovators, serving in institutions of higher education, public or private school settings, federal, state or local educational agencies, community organizations, and the private sector.
The Educational Technology program focuses on topics specific to K-12 education, higher education, and e-learning and emphasizes issues surrounding online teaching, school technology coordination, and technology integration.

Online Nursing Master’s Program
The Department of Nursing offers a graduate nursing program with two degree options. The program leading to a Master of Science in Nursing is a thesis-based program. The program leading to a Master of Nursing requires a professional project. Both programs prepare the graduate for research and professional practice in public health nursing with a population health emphasis. A professional fee is charged to students each semester.
