How do I search for Distance Education classes on BroncoWeb?
- Go to http://broncoweb.boisestate.edu/ (BroncoWeb homepage)
- Either click on Log in to BroncoWeb or Welcome Guests. If logging in, use your student ID and password to gain access.
Course Search
- Click on Course Catalog and Schedule.
- Click on View Schedule of Classes.
- Use the drop-down menu to choose Boise State University as the institution.
- Use the drop down menu to choose the term for which you are interested in searching.
- Click on Class Search.
- You must select at least two (2) criteria to search for classes. For example, try Mode of Instruction as Internet and Course Career as Undergraduate. You need not fill in a subject and catalog number unless you are looking for a specific class.
- Leaving the Open Classes Only box checked will show you classes that still have seats available. To see all classes being offered according to your search criteria, whether they are full or still have seats available, un-check this box.
Important Course Information
- While browsing individual courses, click on the
(Class Detail) button to the right of the course information.
- It is necessary that you read the details associated with any class you select. If you sign up for a course, you are reserving a seat and are responsible for any fees and requirements associated with it. Consider carefully before you sign up: Distance Education courses are not for everyone.
- Some courses may require special skills while other courses may have separate sections for In-State and Out-of-State students.
