Videoconferencing classes provide synchronous instruction through video broadcasting technology. The instructor provides a lecture at one location, which is viewed in real time by students at another location. Students located at another site can ask questions of the instructor during the lecture through the two-way audio and video system. In-person classroom attendance may be required by the instructor for all class lectures. Course information—such as syllabus, assignments, or schedule—is available from a Blackboard online course site, webpage, or by e-mail from the instructor. When there are exams that require in-person monitoring, a proctor will be in the room at all distant site locations.
