The series is currently on hiatus.
The Boise State Distinguished Lecture Series was created to promote the discussion of important issues.

Several times a year, an eminent person in social or political activities, in the arts or sciences or some other realm of contemporary significance speaks on campus.
Students, faculty, staff and community members have a chance to hear people who have affected the course of history or who are influencing current events.
The lectures are free of charge. The Distinguished Lecture Series is supported primarily by student fees. Additional support comes from the generosity of corporate sponsors.
