According to an independent survey run by the Executive MBA Council, the average cost of a two-year Executive MBA program is $57,954. Our price is $41,000, but we don't shortchange you anywhere. Our program outperforms the others in overall quality and impact on your career. See the EMBA Council Student Exit Satisfaction Survey for details.  Click here to view the survey results.

Fees:
The $41,000 fee covers two academic years of:  tuition; classroom instruction; executive coaching; preparatory materials; textbooks, course-related software, and business cases, most meals; housing for both the opening residency week and the international residency week, campus parking and other campus fees.  Transportation to and from residencies is the responsibility of the participant.

Each participant is expected to have a laptop computer available for many class sessions. Upon acceptance into the program, a $1,900 non-refundable deposit is required to hold a place in class. The deposit will be deducted from the first year’s fee of $20,500. We can also create specialized payment options if needed. Boise State considers an applicant’s acceptance of admission a binding commitment, since no other candidates can be admitted to the program after the academic year begins. Therefore, the EMBA fee is not refundable once classes have begun.

Financial Aid:
There are two main Executive MBA Loan Sources
• Federal Direct Loan - http://www.fafsa.ed.gov
Maximum you can borrow: $20,500 / year
• Private MBA Tuition Loans
Maximum you can borrow: Up to the full program fee amount

Who is eligible to apply for financial aid?:
Most Boise State University Executive MBA students qualify to borrow $20,500 per year through the Federal Direct Loan Program. To apply, you must be a permanent U.S. resident, must not be in default on a prior federal student loan, and must have registered for the draft if required by law to do so. Otherwise, this program is not based on need, income, or credit. Depending on credit worthiness, EMBA students may also qualify to borrow up to the full amount of the program fee through the private MBA Tuition Loan Program. Foreign residents may apply for this loan with a U.S. citizen co-signer.

How to apply for a Federal Stafford Direct Loan:
To apply for a Federal Direct Loan, fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at www.fafsa.ed.gov or on paper and submit it to the address included on the application. If you are offered admission to the Executive MBA Program and your FAFSA is approved, Boise State University will send you a financial aid eligibility letter and a promissory note asking how much of the $20,500 annual maximum you wish to borrow. You will need Boise State University’s federal financial aid code for the FAFSA: 001616.

We streamline the financial aid functions for EMBA participants.  Please direct any questions you have about Financial Aid to the Executive MBA office not the Boise State University Financial Aid office.  We can be contacted at:
