Research Interests

My research focus is in 20th Century American poetry, but I have published some in fiction too. I have forthcoming articles on Langston Hughes and Lorine Niedecker.

Recent Publications

My book is called The Colonial Moment: Discoveries and Settlements in Modern American Poetry. It was published by Northern Illinois University Press in 2004 and covers 5 poets: Robert Frost, Marianne Moore, William Carlos Williams, Hart Crane, and Langston Hughes.
