Day 1 – People: Advanced Skills for Managing the Project Team and Stakeholders

In this one-day workshop you'll get tips and techniques to better manage and facilitate the "people" side of projects – whether it's your project team, stakeholders or the meetings you run every day. Topics include team roles, making decisions, managing conflict, stakeholder engagement, and meeting design and management.

Day 2 – Process: Advanced Skills for Defining and Managing the Project Lifecycle

Whether you have a Project Management Office or a loosely structured group of Project Managers, this workshop will help you think through the process, standards and governance needed to achieve consistent, high quality results from one project to the next. Day 3 – Technology: Enterprise Project Management Using Microsoft Server

Thurs., Feb. 16, 2012, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. | Instructor: Joe Blake

When you manage multiple, complex projects, you need the more robust capabilities of an enterprise software. This workshop provides you with hands-on training using a real world case study to introduce Microsoft Project Server 2010, an enterprise level tool for managing multiple projects. It also includes a 30-day trial of the software. Features of the software are demonstrated for project demand, adding, view and using resources, and managing the project center.
