Gowen Field

For classes close to where you live, Boise State is proud to partner with the U.S. military to offer classes at Gowen Field.
The program at Gowen Field is open to active military, dependents, and the general public. We offer academic classes as well as support services, including advising, admission, registration, and placement testing.

Security and Access to Gowen Field
All non-military students attending classes at the Gowen Field campus will need to complete a Background Check Form (downloadable from the link below) to obtain a Base Pass from the Pass and Registration Office at Gowen Field. This should be done upon registration for classes each semester.
- Gowen Base Pass Instructions - Procedures for Non-military students and instructors to gain access to Gowen Field (pdf)
- Gowen Background Check Form - Required for drivers, passengers and carpoolers (pdf)
- Students must go to the Pass and Registration Office located at the Gowen Field Base to obtain the pass, change their information or have the pass reissued should it be lost.
- To pick up your pass, you must provide a current driver's license, vehicle registration and proof of insurance on all vehicles you listed on the form. Students will need to have the pass in their possession every time they attend a class or access the base.
