Gowen Field Programs

Boise State’s Gowen Field Campus offers the core academic classes as well as a wide variety of core classes in all three of the required areas for students to complete an Associate’s degree as well as some upper division courses to complete the Bachelor of Applied Science degree.

All academic degrees offered at Boise State require a minimum number of credits in the three approved core areas and two semesters of English. Students may complete an Associate’s of Science degree and 98% of a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice at the Gowen Field campus.


The degrees available to work towards are:

  • Associate of Arts Degree (A.A.)
  • Associate of Science Degree
  • Associate of Science–Criminal Justice Administration
  • Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.)*
  • Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.S.)**

*An Associate’s of Applied Science degree may be completed based upon a military credit evaluation done by the Gowen Field Office.
**Gowen Field Campus offers a small selection of upper division courses that can be applied toward the Bachelor of Applied Science degree program.
