Mountain Home

Mountain Home Campus. We are here to help.

Boise State is proud to partner with the U.S. military to offer classes at the Mountain Home Air Force Base (MHAFB), for classes close to where you live.

Classes are open to military personnel, family members, people from surrounding communities, teachers, and local high school students. We offer academic classes as well as support services, including advising, admission, registration, and placement testing.

Security and Access to Mountain Home Air Force Base

Non-Military students attending classes at Mountain Home Air Force Base must submit to a background check before being allowed access to the base. Background Check Forms must be submitted for each semester you are attending classes on base.

Students wishing to have access must submit the form at least two weeks prior to the start of class.

  1. Download a Background Check Form (Word doc) and fill in the information
  2. Email the completed form to mountainhome@boisestate.edu
  3. Once your background check is complete, stop by the visitor center at the main gate of Mountain Home AFB between the hours of 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. to receive a base pass. The pass will be valid throughout the semester and students will not be allowed to attend class without it.

This procedure must be completed each semester.
