Welcome!

Boise State University has responded to the need in the Twin Falls and surrounding South Central Idaho area for convenient access to higher education.

 
   
 

With a population of nearly 180,000, South Central Idaho is one of the fastest growing areas in the state.

Boise State University has offered degree programs at the College of Southern Idaho Campus in Twin Falls since 1995. In that time, over 200 students have earned their bachelor’s degrees from Boise State--

Programs and Highlights

Boise State offers
BACHELOR’S degree programs in:

   • Accountancy (pdf of Accounting’s Degree Requirements)
  
   • General Business Management (pdf of General Business Management Degree Requirements)
  
   • Criminal Justice (pdf of Criminal Justice Degree Requirements)

All of the upper division courses that you’ll need are offered in the evenings at the College of Southern Idaho Campus or are offered over the internet.


Boise State also offers a MASTER’S degree program

Master's Degree courses in Bilingual Education are offered in Twin Falls at the College of Southern Idaho on the weekends with a schedule of three weekends per 8-week period. Detailed information about this program is can be found at the Bilingual Education website .

Directions to Twin Falls Campus Site

• Take Exit #173 off I-84 to Twin Falls.

• Cross the Perrine Bridge and pass the Magic Valley Mall and end up on
    Blue Lakes Blvd.

• Travel south on Blue Lakes Blvd, turn right on Falls Avenue
   (4th stoplight).

• Turn right (head West) on Falls Avenue until you reach the entrance
   to the College of Southern Idaho campus (turn right).

• As you enter the campus, the Fine Arts Auditorium is to your left
   and the Taylor Administration Building is on your right.

• Boise State’s Twin Falls Administrative Office is in Taylor 202.

Admissions/Advising/Registration

Admission

The first step to becoming a student at Boise State University is to apply for admission. Students enrolling in the Twin Falls Boise State Program should follow these procedures:

1. Download admissions application  (pdf)

2. Return completed application to Twin Falls Coordinator.

3. Have colleges and universities that you have attended previously send official transcripts to:

4. The $40 application fee is waived for Twin Falls


Advising

Advising is available by dropping by the Twin Falls Program office at the College of Southern Idaho campus, Taylor Building, Room 202.

Registration

Once you are admitted to Boise State and have received a registration appointment or an appointment letter, you are ready to register.

Go to broncoweb.boisestate.edu and click on "Log in to BroncoWeb."
Follow the steps for registering and when you are finished, print a copy of your schedule.


You may register online:
  • From any internet-connected computer
  • At the Twin Falls campus site
  • At any Boise State campus computer lab
  • At the Extended Studies office, Boise State University, 1015 Grant Ave.,
    Boise, Idaho, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday

Once you register, your Student Account will be available to you on BroncoWeb. This is where you will find your student account detail including due dates and amounts due. Be sure to access your student account as soon as you register and often during the semester. You will also receive a student email account; please check this regularly as important university information will be communicated via email.

Orientation
Once you have been admitted, we suggest you take advantage of one of the conveniently scheduled orientation programs. It will provide you with information on resources, access to advisors, registration assistance, student success programs, tutorial services, and additional valuable university resources. Orientation is available in groups or online. Call them at 426-4049 or visit http://orientation.boisestate.edu for more information.

Fees/Deadlines/Refund Policy

Fees
For current fee information, visit http://admissions.boisestate.edu/tuition.shtml.

Please note that some courses have extra fees (lab, workshop, telecommunication) in addition to regular per credit course fees. Please check the course schedule and verify fees at time of registration.

• Fees are payable to Boise State University by check, money order, purchase order or VISA/MC/Discover. Extended Studies does not accept cash payments.

Fee Payment Policy
Once you register for classes, you will remain registered and will be held responsible for the fees and grades assessed for these classes UNLESS YOU TAKE ACTION to cancel your registration. If you decide not to attend these classes, you must drop all your classes by going through BroncoWeb. If you do not cancel your registration or pay your fees by the fee payment deadline, you will remain registered, you will be charged course fees, and you will be assessed a $50 late penalty. All complete withdrawals are subject to a $25 withdrawal fee.

The textbooks required for Boise State’s Twin Falls Program classes are conveniently available for purchase at the College of Southern Idaho Bookstore in the Taylor Building.

Financial Aid

For the latest financial aid information, view http://financialaid.boisestate.edu/.

Students who are enrolled in Boise State University and the College of Southern Idaho concurrently, and receiving financial aid, will be required to submit a Consortium Financial Aid Agreement (pdf of Consortium Agreement form). This will allow Boise State University to include your CSI credits in your total credits for financial aid purposes.

ID Cards

Boise State University students enrolled in the Twin Falls program can have Boise State ID cards processed through the Twin Falls Coordinator’s office in Taylor 202. Stop by to have your picture taken and your ID card will be mailed to you within a week.

Computer Lab Use

Twin Falls-Boise State students have access to the computer labs on the College of Southern Idaho campus.

To have your account set up:
1. Fill out the Application for CSI Computer Lab Use (pdf)
2. E-mail the form to sstroud@csi.edu and your account will be set up for you within 3 working days.

NOTE: If you are currently enrolled in a CSI class, your computer account is already set up.
