Join Boise State University's Educational Travel Program to New York City.

Experience the excitement of current artistic offerings.

  • Bask in masterworks exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
  • Marvel at the planet’s most extraordinary exhibits as they come to life in the new Discovery Exposition in the heart of Times Square.
  • Attend world-class performances of carefully-selected theatre and music, heightened by informal discussions tailored to accommodate all levels of interest. Shows will include:
    • Billy Elliot
    • The Addams Family
    • Spider-Man

 

Faculty:

Del Parkinson, Professor of Music, will lead this program. He has successfully led numerous travel programs to London, New York City, Europe and China.

 

Cost:

$3,400. Includes:

  • Round trip airfare from Boise* plus airport transfers to hotel
  • Six nights of hotel accommodations at Novotel**
  • Tickets to theatre and music performances
  • Admission charges
  • Professionally guided visits to historical and cultural sites
  • Selected meals
  • Credit or non-credit fee

*Departure from other cities may be arranged for an adjustment in cost.
**Hotel rate is based on double occupancy. Single supplement is an additional $700.

 

Payment and Refund Policy:

Payments due:
Deposit of $1,400 or more due by September 16.
First installment of $1,000 due by October 16.
Final payment due by November 16.

Late registrations will be considered on a space-available basis.

Participants traveling independently are responsible for meeting up with the group.

Refunds:
Prior to October 16, refunds will be issued minus one-third of the deposit.
Prior to November 16, refunds will be issued minus the full deposit.
After November 16, no refunds will be given.*
*It is highly recommended that you purchase travel insurance. Contact us for information.
