Join Boise State University's Educational Travel Program to Scandinavian capitals and St. Petersburg, Russia.

Travel through spectacular scenery and thrill to the distinctive architectural beauty of:

  • Copenhagen, Denmark
  • Stockholm, Sweden
  • Tallin, Estonia
  • Helsinki, Finland
  • St. Petersburg, Russia

Explore landmark cathedrals and churches, historic statues and fortresses, elegant gardens and fountains, legendary castles and opulent palaces, including:

  • The Little Mermaid statue
  • A Viking warship exhibit
  • The Nobel Prize award chambers

Marvel at treasured masterworks on display in the famed Hermitage Museum.

Applaud carefully-selected world-class performances at renowned opera houses and concert halls.

 

Faculty:

Del Parkinson, Professor of Music, will lead this program. He has successfully led numerous travel programs to London, New York City, Europe and China.

 

Cost:

$5,000.* Includes:

  • Round trip airfare from Boise** plus airport transfers to hotel
  • Ten nights of hotel accommodations***
  • Daily breakfast buffet plus selected dinners
  • Train from Copenhagen to Stockholm and St. Petersburg
  • Ferry transportation to Tallinn and Helsinki
  • Local transportation in deluxe air-conditioned motorcoach
  • Entrance fees to museums and historical sights
  • Professional local guides
  • Tickets to performances
  • Credit or non-credit fee

*Price is subject to adjustment due to exchange rate fluctuation and/or low enrollment.
**Departure from other cities may be arranged for an adjustment in cost.
***Hotel rate is based on double occupancy. Single supplement is an additional $825.

 

Payment and Refund Policy:

Payments due:
Deposit of $2,000 or more due by September 16.
First installment of $1,500 due by October 16.
Final payment due by November 16.

Late registrations will be considered on a space-available basis.

Participants traveling independently are responsible for meeting up with the group.

Refunds:
Prior to October 16, refunds will be issued minus one-third of the deposit.
Prior to November 16, refunds will be issued minus the full deposit.
After November 16, no refunds will be given.*
*It is highly recommended that you purchase travel insurance. Contact us for information.
