Glean Potatoes for the Idaho Food Bank
Bring your grubby clothes and garden gloves and participate in the ancient tradition of gleaning. We will visit a potato field west of Boise to glean the leftover crop for food donations through the Idaho Food Bank.
$10 per person.
Requires minimum of seven attendees. |

Walking Tour of Galleries/Shops
Boise houses a variety of galleries, jewelry, and boutique shops with work by local and regional artists as well as by national and international artists. Join the tour both to see the shops and galleries and get a closer look at the city.

This popular guided tour explores the city of Boise, both historic and modern, in a delightful period motorized trolley.

World Center for Birds of Prey
The World Center for the Birds of Prey is the headquarters of The Peregrine Fund, a non-profit organization dedicated to raptor conservation and captive breeding. At the Velma Morrison Interpretive Center visitors learn about birds of prey and how the Peregrine Fund breeds endangered birds in captivity in preparation for reintroduction into the wild. Visitors will see falcons, eagles and California Condors, interactive displays, multimedia shows and a unique gift shop.

Old Penitentiary and Boise Foothills
Just east of the city is the Old Idaho Penitentiary, one of only four regional penitentiaries still standing in the U.S. Built in 1870 from sandstone quarried in the adjacent foothills and used until 1973, this complex housed many Wild West desperadoes in its time and is now on the National Register of Historic Places. The tour includes cell blocks, the women’s quarters, death row and the gallows. After the tour lift your mood by climbing the nearby foothills for an overview of the area.
$10 per person, includes admission.

Walking Tour of Basque Block
Join us as we walk through this unique block and visit the oldest surviving brick building in Boise, the Cyrus Jacobs-Uberaga Boarding House, an indoor fronton or Basque handball court and the Basque Museum.
