These deadlines apply to the standard academic year. If you are enrolled in programs with earlier or later start dates, you may have other deadlines. It’s your responsibility to ask about deadlines specific to your program.

2024-2025
The 2024-2025 FAFSA form is now available. You can complete the form to apply for financial aid to help pay for attendance at college between July 1, 2024, and June 30, 2025. Federal Student Aid may initiate pauses for site maintenance and to make technical updates as needed to provide you with a better experience as more students fill out the form.
What happens next?
Schools are not expected to receive FAFSA files until late January at the earliest. We are estimating that we will be able to begin awarding students in late March. Please continue to check back for updates and watch my.BoiseState, your Student Center, and BroncoMail for further notifications.
Tips
- Did you fill out a FAFSA form for 2023–24? Federal Student Aid is emailing students (and parents of dependent students) who applied on the 2023–24 form, reminding them to apply for 2024–25. To ensure you receive future updates, log in to your StudentAid.gov account and confirm they’ve got your current email address.
