Manage Your Aid

You can avoid delays in receiving and accepting your aid by understanding what you need to do in the financial aid process.

  • Once you submit your FAFSA and scholarship applications, check your BroncoMail and myBoiseState Student Center regularly for updates on possible To-Do or Hold items. To-Do or Hold items must be complete to receive federal aid.
  • If your application is selected for verification, we’ll ask you to provide additional information (tax documents, forms) so we can ensure application accuracy. You’ll need to complete the verification process before you can receive federal aid.
  • You will accept all loans, work-study, and most scholarships via your Student Center in myBoiseState. Grants are automatically accepted on your behalf. You should accept your aid as soon as possible.
  • Disbursement is the releasing of your financial aid to your account. If you have To Do’s or Holds, it will prevent your aid from disbursing.
