Dependent students who are financially independent from their parents, and unable to get parents to complete the FAFSA, may be eligible for unsubsidized loans.
Full time status is the same as "full-fee-paying" status... 12 or more credits
Most scholarships require students to be enrolled in 12 or more credits
Budget increase available for "Child Maintenance Allowance," but is limited to independent students with an EFC of 0. Process does require the student to have his/her FAFSA verified.
