Are you co-enrolled at CWI or CSI for Spring 2009?
If you have credits at Boise State as well as the College of Western Idaho (CWI) or College of Southern Idaho (CSI), your credits at both schools may be used for your financial aid eligibility for Spring semester.
To initiate the process of combining credits, you will need to print, complete, and submit a "Federal Aid Consortium Agreement" according to the instructions on the form.
Key points from the form include, but are not limited to:
You must be currently enrolled as a degree seeking student at the institution from which you will receive federal financial aid. (Your HOME institution)
You must be enrolled in at least 3 credits at your HOME institution.
The credits taken at the other school (the HOST institution) must apply towards your degree at the HOME institution. Your academic advisor must review and approve the credits you will be taking at the HOST institution.
You may only seek and receive federal financial aid from one institution.
You will immediately inform the financial aid office at your HOME institution of any change in enrollment at the HOST institution.
All other financial aid eligibility requirements still pertain, such as meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress at your HOME institution... especially if it is Boise State!
Make certain you review EACH point listed in the Student Certification section of the Consortium Agreement before you sign and submit it.
