Complete the correct Master Promissory Note (MPN)

Some grad students have been confused by which MPN is the correct one to complete. The loan options are separate and distinct for the loans you have been awarded.

On the MPN Home Page, click "Complete New MPN for Student Loans" (Step 1 below) This will bring up the screen shown below. Step 2 indicates the correct MPN to be completed by grad students who have been awarded student loans based on the FAFSA. This is the Subsidized/Unsubsidized MPN.

Only a few graduate students will submit an application for an additional loan called the Grad PLUS. Complete Graduate PLUS MPN only if you have submitted an additional PLUS loan application to the Financial Aid Office.
