Direct Loan Servicer:https://www.dl.ed.gov. Use this site for exit loan counseling, and online management of your subsidized and unsubsidized loans from Boise State. You can view your student loans, make online payments, change your address, select your repayment plan, or access deferment forms at this location.
Direct Loan Consolidation: http://www.loanconsolidation.ed.gov . You can consolidate all of your subsidized and unsubsidized loans (as well as Perkins** loan, if you choose) at this location. Boise State financial aid administrators recommend the Direct Loan conlidation program. Consolidated loans go into repayment immediately... without grace periods... so choose your timing carefully.
Campus Partners:https://www.mycampusloan.com . Is the Perkins loan servicer for Boise State. At this location, you may complete the Perkins exit loan counseling session and you may conduct online business. Your on campus contact person for Perkins repayment questions is Maria Trejo at 426.1164.
NSLDS:http://www.nslds.ed.gov/nslds_SA . From this web site, you can access a national database that provides detailed information about the loans and federa grants you have received historically. It includes Perkins, PLUS, FFEL, and Direct Loan information.
** Perkins loan borrowers should review loan forgiveness programs before consolidating this loan. Students in Criminal Justice, Education, and Nursing may be able to have some or all of their Perkins loans forgiven if they meet the critera.
