Once you have registered for spring semester classes, you will see an amount due for your class fees. Here is when you can expect financial aid to be applied towards that amount:

January 11th disbursement of:
Pell Grants, SEOG/LEAP/SLEAP Grants, Scholarships, Subsidized & Unsubsidized loans, PLUS loans, and Alternative Loans
Caution: check to see if this aid is enough to cover all of your spring fees! If not, you need to make plans to arrangments to pay the difference before the January 14th fee payment deadline.
February 2nd disbursement of:
Perkins loan, ACG and SMART grants
Lightfoot scholarships
These disbursement dates are accurate, if ALL of the statements below are true...
You completed a 2009-2010 FAFSA on or before October 1, 2009
You have no financial aid "To Do Items" or "Holds" on your BroncoWeb records (except for "No Fall Aid" To Do item)
Your first class begins the week of January 19th, 2010 (Studies Abroad students and others with later classes, your aid is scheduled to disburse 10 days before your first class begins).
Your 2009-2010 financial aid is visible on BroncoWeb AND you have ACCEPTED aid before January 8th
You are registered for enough credits for the type of aid you will be receiving:
At least half-time enrollment for federal Direct Student Loans
12 or more credits to receive the full amount of Pell, ACG, and SMART Grants
Federal Pell Grants are reduced when you are enrolled in fewer than 12 credits
Federal ACG and SMART grants are reduced when you are enrolled in 6-11 credits
12 or more credits for Perkins Loans
All internship and course credits must be in place on BroncoWeb by February 1st in order to be included for grant eligibility.
Refunds will begin to appear in bank accounts and mailboxes on or about January 13th, 2010.
January 11th: Grades will be checked for students who have existing Satisfactory Academic Progress HOLDS. For those students who regain financial aid eligibility, please notify the Financial Aid Office to have your spring aid reinstated.
