The process for awarding summer financial aid is quite tricky. The average length of time to determine one student's summer aid is approximately 17 minutes.
Awarding IS occurring all day, every weekday! Summer aid requests are up 27% this year! Please be patient and know that financial aid staff members are constantly working on the summer award process.
Students enrolling for summer 2009 and who have not received aid from Boise State during fall 2008 or spring 2009 can expect to see financial aid visible on BroncoWeb about 2-3 weeks after you register for your summer classes... or after we receive your 2008-2009 FAFSA... whichever is later.
Student who have received 2008-2009 aid from Boise State should allow 3 - 4 weeks after...
you have clicked the "Summer Aid" link AND were able to click "Request Summer Loans"
OR
Pell Grant eligible students have registered for summer classes
Students who expect to advance to a higher grade level, such as freshman to sophomore, are advised to follow the instructions at the "Summer Aid" link after grades have been posted for spring 2009.
The good news is... approximately 63% more students have summer aid in place than at this time last year!
