Native Studies at Boise State University: Talking Strategy

Lee Marmon
Keynote Speaker, Thursday March 20st in the Jordan Ballroom from 9:00-11:30am
Lee Marmon, Indigenous Photographer from Laguna Pueblo

Lee Marmon has been photographing indigenous people for over 50 years and is the recipient of many awards for his work. His book, "The Pueblo Imagination" sold out almost immediately upon it's release. The book paired Lee's photography with three very celebrated authors: his novelist daughter Leslie Marmon Silko, and the poets Joy Harjo and Simon Ortiz. Lee has captured a piece of American history with his decades of dedication to photography and we are honored to have him as a guest keynote speaker. We hope you attend his presentation.
