Mental Health Screenings

Health, Wellness and Counseling Services welcomes you to the online screening for depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, alcohol and eating disorders. This free screening is made available to all Boise State students and employees and is taken anonymously. The screening is provided so that you may find out-in a few minutes-whether or not professional consultation would be helpful to you.

Wellness Resource Stations

Wellness Resource Stations are located at Boise West Student Services and the Health & Wellness Center. Both house the latest health information and related campus services. The Health & Wellness Center location has a lending library for students and employees to check out wellness related books, DVD's, CD's, videos and models.

American College Health Association's Web Links and On-Line Resources houses an exhaustive list of health-related links grouped by category/subject area.

Go Ask Alice is the health question and answer Internet service produced by Columbia University's Health Education Program.

"Alice!" is an ever-growing database of over 2000 questions about relationships; sexuality; sexual health; emotional health; fitness; nutrition; alcohol, nicotine, and other drugs; and, general health. The answers are factual, in-depth, straight-forward, and nonjudgmental information to assist readers' decision-making about their physical, sexual, emotional, and spiritual health.

Healthfinder is a wonderful guide to reliable health information. This government site addresses health concerns based on gender, age, race, ethnic origin or role in assisting others with personal health care needs.

Ulifeline is an on-line behavioral health support system for young adults. Explore their mental health library, suicide prevention resources and personal assessments.

Web MD is one of the leaders in providing current, accurate health information on-line. New to Web MD is their fertility, weight management and health management sites.

First Student Health Zone is a free resource that is geared towards helping college students stay healthy and handle relevant health issues.
