Counseling Services

Eligibility

All BSU students are eligible for personal counseling. If a student is seeking relationship counseling, the significant other does not have to be a student; but does have to stay in couples counseling to be seen. The student in the relationship may be seen also in a one on one session.

How to Access Services

• Appointments
  We want your visit to be as quick and easy as possible. Before coming by, please call us at (208) 426-1601 to schedule an appointment. By letting us schedule you in advance, you can spend less time in the waiting room and be better matched with the expertise of our providers.
  
  
• Immediate or Urgent Care
  If you need immediate care, one of our counseling staff can usually meet with you within a couple of hours of you calling or walking in.

When Counseling Services is closed, you may contact the 24-hour Nurse Line at 800-322-9569 or seek care at an Urgent Care facility.
