Post-Graduate Counseling Internships
Counseling Services at Boise State University is offering a Post-Graduate level internship for the 2008-2009 academic year. We embrace a model of diversity in service delivery, and the position primarily will consist of providing outreach, consultation, individual counseling, couples counseling, and group counseling with a university population. Our internship is designed to be flexible and offer a wide array of opportunities with the possibility of running workshops, and working with numerous departments and programs on campus, etc.
A $11,000 stipend will be given for this position for the academic year. This position will be approximately 34 weeks in duration, from mid August 2008 to the end of May 2009. The position requires that the intern commit to at least 19.5 hours per week for the fall and spring semesters. Hours will include direct service hours, an hour of business meeting, an hour of group supervision, an hour of topical seminar training, and an hour of clinical consultation per week.
