Wellness Services Intern
DUTIES/JOB DESCRIPTION: Wellness Services interns obtain a wide variety of programming experiences. Duties may include conducting needs assessments, data analysis, project development, program implementation, evaluation and maintenance of department programs.
REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must be at least of junior standing or a graduate student. Wellness Services is looking for interns that are enthusiastic team players that possess strong organization and communication skills. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications is strongly desired.
BENEFITS: Each intern will receive up to 2 credits and $8.00 per hour. This is a great opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to receive direct experience in the field of health promotion right here at Boise State while earning credit towards graduation!
TIME and TRAINING: The time involves 5-7 hours per week or 100 hours per semester, for 2 credits. Individual supervision of 1/2 hour each week is also provided to help tailor the work to the specific needs of the project each intern facilitates. Internship hours are to be carried out during the workday Monday through Friday, with the potential for some evening and/or weekend hours depending on need.
