![]() Name: Christina Berg Services Provided/Professional Philosophy: At Boise State University, I direct the prevention/health promotion programs and services for students and employees. This is accomplished by employing a variety of research-based strategies to prevent health-related problems, support academic success and promote personal and social responsibility for health. While carrying out these efforts, I work to incorporate a holistic philosophy towards health that honors the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of life. I also manage the marketing for Health, Wellness and Counseling Services and have the opportunity to teach and conduct health-related research.

Name: Jodi Brawley Services Provided/Professional Philosophy: As a member of the Health, Wellness and Counseling Services team, I work with Wellness Works Peer Education Program, coordinate the Employee Wellness Program and assist with a variety of health promotion/prevention activities on campus. I believe health is a personal journey and enjoy working with people regarding their journey. |
Name: Jennifer Summers Services Provided/Professional Philosophy: As a Health Educator for the Health, Wellness and Counseling Services, I am responsible for the coordination of comprehensive alcohol, tobacco and other drugs prevention program, using preventive initiatives, risk reduction and evidence-based strategies. I also facilitate Nutrition Q & A, Unleash Your Inner Chef and Healthy Lifestyles: Weight Management Program. I believe that wellness is an active, lifelong process of becoming aware of choices and making decisions toward a more balanced and fulfilling life. This process can lead to a healthier state of well-being that allows individuals and communities to thrive. |
Name: Natalie Griffin Services Provided/Professional Philosophy: As part of the Health, Wellness, and Counseling Services team, I provide programmatic support for Wellness Services. My goal is to serve the greater good of the campus and student population by educating about healthy behaviors and lifestyle choices. In combining my enthusiasm for health, a true passion for learning and a willingness to strive for results far above satisfactory, I am able to genuinely make a positive impact on the community. |

I'll be maintaining a dynamic website complete with content management system and guiding the developement of a new site that supports the visions and goals of HWC. I believe that creativity is best used in the service of clear goals and defined patterns. Communication is the most important component of this process as well as arts highest acheivement. |
![]() Name: Pepper Dobson Services Provided/Professional Philosophy: As a massage therapist for Health, Wellness and Counseling Services (HWC), I am pleased to provide medical massage and facilitate new awareness through educating clients to be responsive to the dimensions of the mind, body and spirit. Since 1996, I have studied the art and sciences of massage therapy, reflexology, iridology, kinesiology, manual lymphatic drainage, shiatsu and other complimentary modalities. Working for HWC is a fantastic way to share this knowledge and skills developed that foster and support well-being. |
Name: Staci Ellis Services Provided/Professional Philosophy: I offer therapeutic massage to students referred by a Boise State Health and Wellness Center medical provider. I enjoy being part of the college health environment where I can utilize my background in working with chiropractic patients as a massage therapist and rehabilitation specialist. I graduated from the University of Idaho with a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Communications and a minor emphasis in Psychology. My massage training was with Apollo College, where I received my certificate in Massage Therapy with honors. My specific areas of focus have been Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, sports and chair massage.
