"In years when I first joined the Elks Lodge in Boise, about 1911 would be the year that I joined, Mr. Daggett used to play the music for the dances. At one time, Mr. Daggett was the orchestra leader in the Pinney Theatre for all the road shows, except when they had their own orchestra, especially the piano player or the leader in the Pinney Theatre for all the road shows, except when they had their own orchestra, especially the piano player or the leader of the orchestra. Mr. Daggett's orchestra played for the Elks dances for a good many years in the present building and also, I believe he played at the old Elks Hall on Seventh and Idaho Street, where it was originally located. I can remember Faye Pohlman was the piano player and Pete Peterson, who later was--I believe he was Treasurer of the El Korah Shrine at one time--he was in that orchestra."
