Investigate Boise is a place-based approach to urban studies that fosters civic engagement.  Our pilot program began in a downtown store front on Idaho Street.  Bus tours, hikes, and two-wheeled Segways extended the lesson from Caldwell to Arrowrock Dam.

Idaho Landscapes is the state’s only peer-reviewed magazine of popular scholarship. Published jointly by the Idaho State Historical Society, Idaho State University, and Boise State University, the magazine is the print companion to Idaho Yesterdays.

The Snake River Canyon Scenic Byway rims vertical volcanic chasms striped with basalt. Boise State has joined Canyon County on a project to promote the byway as a heritage tourism site.
