Benjamin Baughman recieved a B.A. in History from Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio, in 2000 and an M.A. in History from Washington State University in Pullman, Washington, in 2003. He is currently the Historic House Manager of the 1797 Ezekiel Harris House for the Augusta Museum of History. Ben resides with his cat Zeke in Augusta, Georgia.
Errol Jones, Ph.D., teaches Latin American history at Boise State University. A specialist in Mexican history, he is also writing a book about Mexican-Americans in Idaho.
Richard D. Kitchen, Ph.D., holds a faculty position at New Mexico Military Institute. His current projects are related to intermarriage between Mormons and American Indians and the raising of American Indian children in Mormon homes (slavery/indenture/adoption) during Brigham Young’s lifetime.
Ruthanne Lum McCunn, an Eurasian of Chinese and Scottish descent, was hailed by the Dallas Times in 1985 as "an American-Chinese author of remarkable talent." She is the author of the highly acclaimed historical novel Thousand Pieces of Gold. Her work, which has won many awards, has been translated into nine languages, published in 16 countries, and adapted for the stage and film. McCunn’s most recent book is The Moon Pearl.
Kathy Watson is a native of Southeastern Idaho, a librarian of 29 years, an avid reader, writer, and cross-country skier. Kathy is currently Associate Director of the Marshall Public Library in Pocatello, where she resides with her husband, their Doberman Pinscher, and one cat.
