Steven Branting is a consultant for gifted and innovative programs in Lewiston's secondary schools. A regular contributor to the NOVA (PBS) Teacher's Guide, he was a finalist in The History Channel's "Save Our History" Awards program this year and was recently honored with an Award of Commendation from the American Association for State and Local History.

Aaron McArthur is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. His research focuses on the significance of tabernacles for the development of L.D.S communities in the Mormon Culture Region. His piece on the Rexburg Tabernacle is extracted from his senior seminar paper at Idaho State University.

Bill Scudder is manager of the Old Mission State Park in northern Idaho. He is currently overseeing the construction of a new multi-million-dollar museum facility at the park, and chairing the committee to establish a permanent exhibit, Sacred Encounters, at the site.

Gregory E. Smoak teaches American Indian, American Western, and Public history at Colorado State University. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Utah and has worked as an historical consultant for several American Indian tribes. He is the author of Ghost Dances and Identity: Prophetic Religion and American Indian Ethnogenesis in the Nineteenth Century (Berkeley: University of California Press, 2006).
