Summer Fellowships

Boise Cascade Corporation Environmental Research Fellowship

Honors students interested in conducting research on environmental issues during the summer are invited to apply for a Boise Cascade Corporation Environmental Research Fellowship. Up to $2,000 is available to fund a summer salary as well as project-related travel, equipment, and materials.

Students from all academic disciplines are eligible. A fellow majoring in biology, for example, might use the funds to analyze the growth of plants in areas burned by forest fires; a fellow specializing in chemistry might do research on water quality issues; or a fellow majoring in political science might study policies governing the management of public lands. Projects that anticipate and make contributions to understanding emerging environmental issues are especially encouraged.

Application forms are available at the Honors College office in Driscoll Hall. Completed applications are due by the end of the first week in November.
