"This award honors those men and women who exemplify Dr. Selland's caring nature, his compassion, his integrity and his encouragement to women and people of color. Two awards are given each year, one for a student and one for a faculty or staff member. As you read the eulogy, you will get a better feel for qualities that nominees should demonstrate.
