Student Media and Marketing Intern

Job Description
Student Media and Marketing Interns will gain experience working in a team environment in design, marketing and promotions for the University Housing department. They should have experience in video editing software, as well as have experience with filming actors and being comfortable with setting up shoots. Ideal candidates should also have experience in Graphic Design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and be knowledgeable of the software and familiar with a Macintosh computer. This intern should be able to handle tight deadlines, be creative, resourceful, and possess great time management skills.

Photography experience is also a benefit. Candidates who have taken or is taking photography classes and can cut a matte board for framing are preferred.

In addition, the Student Media and Marketing intern would preferably have some background in marketing and promotions, for example have taken classes that are marketing-related or have had experience in the field. Since it will be a team environment; we are also seeking individuals who have strong communication skills, is respectful towards others and can receive constructive criticism well.

Required Qualifications
Enrolled at Boise State University
Must have attained Sophomore status (26 or more credits)
Cumulative GPA of at least 2.5

Preferred Qualifications
Photography
Experience working with print shops and vendors
Graphic Design experience

Remuneration:
$8.00/hour
