Step 1: Ensure you have a CAT5 network cable and a network card in your computer. BroncoTec in the Student Union Building sells both network cards and CAT5 cables. Once you have the required hardware, plug the CAT5 cable into the wall jack and into the network port on the computer.
NOTE: If you have multiple ports as seen below, you may need to try both to find the “active” port! If you are in University Suites or Square, you will have 2 sets of these ports in each bedroom. 1 set of ports will be on one wall and 1 set on another.

Open Internet Explorer or your favorite web browser. The page will redirect to a SafeConnect authentication page, where you will be prompted to login using your BrowcoWeb username and password. You will then be required to install the SafeConnect client.
