Lucky Peak
We hire approximately 12 technicians for our fall migration projects at Lucky Peak near Boise. These are traineeships with a stipend and lodging (tent camping). For information on our raptor or owl projects, email GregoryKaltenecker@boisestate.edu.

These positions often fill before the job is posted and we encourage interested applicants to contact us in late winter about traineeship availability.
Seasonal
We hire approximately 30 seasonal technicians for monitoring work in Idaho, Montana, and Utah each summer. Projects include:Â IMBCR point count surveys, and focal-species projects such as woodpecker, goshawk, and owl research.
We post these seasonal positions on the Texas A&M Job Board and/or the Ornithology Exchange Job Board in mid winter.
