• All study abroad students are given a study abroad handbook, which
discusses health and safety issues in great detail and will answer many
of your questions regarding health and safety.

Information about health issues for travelers, immunizations, etc

State Department’s Bureau of Consular Affairs
The State Department’s web site regularly posts consular information
sheets and travel updates. You can also find useful information on services
for Americans abroad, voting while abroad, travel publications, passport
information, judicial assistance overseas, and embassy and consulate addresses. Central District Health (Boise)
CDH has an overseas travel clinic for the public, offering immunizations
and guidance about international travel.
SAFETI
Clearinghouse
• The SAFETI (Safety Abroad First - Educational Travel Information)
Clearinghouse Project develops and distributes health and safety resources
related to study abroad programs.
