Campus Crime Log: Sept. 1-9, 2007
Sept. 1 – Trespassing – Suspect entered a room in Chaffee Hall and would not leave when initially asked. Report taken, follow-up under way.
Sept. 2 - Vehicle Burglary – Unknown suspect entered an unlocked vehicle at University and Michigan and took a cell phone, loose change and two sets of keys. Report taken.
Sept. 3 – Burglary – A digital camera was taken from an office/lab area in the Micron Engineering Building. Report taken.
Sept. 3 – Trespassing – A subject, who had previously been trespassed, was sitting in a darkened room in the Micron Engineering Building. Report taken, arrest made.
Sept. 3 – Vandalism – Suspects used paint to vandalize the first and second floors, interior and exterior, of the Brady Parking Garage. They also vandalized a vehicle in the Morrison Center parking lot. Report taken, arrest made.
Sept. 3 – Illegal Consumption of Alcohol – Underage student in Keiser Hall was drinking. Report taken.
Sept. 4 – Vandalism – OIT van was tagged with graffiti outside the OIT building. Report taken.
Sept. 4 – Theft – A BSU radio and cash were taken from an office in the Parking and Transportation building. Report taken.
Sept. 4 – Burglary – A parking permit was taken from a vehicle parked at Manitou and Belmont.
Sept. 4 – Petit Theft – a victim’s wallet was stolen while he was in the Student Union. Report taken.
Sept. 5 – Grand Theft Auto – A vehicle parked at the Albertsons Library was stolen. Report taken.
Sept. 5 – Vehicle Burglary – A parking permit was stolen from a vehicle parked on the BSU campus. Report taken.
Sept. 6 – Bike Theft – A secured bike was stolen from a bike rack at the University Suites Apartments. Report taken.
Sept. 7 – Illegal Fireworks – A student was shooting off bottle rockets in the front yard of a house on Martha. Report taken.
Sept. 8 – Harassing Phone Calls – A male was calling a female in the Student Union and saying inappropriate things. Report taken.
